Movies... in no particular order:

Hot Fuzz (probably my favourite comedy this year)
Lars and the Real Girl
Gone Baby Gone (Ben Affleck is one of the worst actors in Hollywood, but the guy sure can direct a movie)
Once (one of the best musical movies I've ever seen)
Knocked Up (first of 3 great films produced by Judd Apatow this year)
Superbad
3:10 to Yuma
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
Juno
The Mist (surprisingly one of the best Stephen King adaptations I've ever seen)
I Am Legend
28 Weeks Later (yes, I love "zombie" flicks -- see also above)
No Country For Old Men (So very dark, but so very good... one of the best from the Coen Brothers)
Year of the Dog
30 Days of Night (I think the creepy award goes to this one)

Re: movies
Sadly, the only one I've seen from your list is I Am Legend. It was creepy-rific. The book's good, too -- written back in the 50s by Richard Matheson, the same guy who wrote Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, which is the Twilight Zone with the gremlin out on the wing of the plane but no one believes the one passenger who can see it.
